Vaginoplasty is a reconstructive plastic surgery and cosmetic procedure for the vaginal canal, its mucous membrane and of vulvo-vaginal structures that might be absent or damaged because of congenital disease (e.g., vaginal hypoplasia) or because of an acquired cause (e.g., childbirth, physical trauma, cancer). As such the term vaginoplasty generally describes any such cosmetic reconstructive and corrective vaginal surgery and the term neovaginoplasty specifically describes the procedures of either partial or total construction or reconstruction of the vulvo-vaginal complex.
A “vaginal rejuvenation” is a non-reconstructive vaginoplasty that restores the muscle tone and desired aesthetics of the vagina by removing external tissues and tightening the supportive structures of the vulvovaginal complex, in an effort either to reduce or to reverse the effects of aging and parturition (childbearing). The advantages may be increased comfort and an improved self-image (mental health) the potential disadvantages are decreased clitoral and genital sensation, and complications such as infection, tissue adhesions and scarring. Sometimes referred to as "vaginal rejuvenation”, “aesthetic vaginal surgery” or “cosmetic vaginal surgery” various results aim to strengthen the function of the vulvo-vaginal area firm up and reshape tissue for youthful appearances. In regular terms the procedure is essentially a “face lift” for the vulva and vagina.
Vaginoplasty or Vaginal Rejevenation is a Cosmetic Surgery and is normally done by the Cosmetic Surgeons and the General Surgeons. The surgery itself is not a big deal as the surgeon works on the outside of the body and does not touch any major organs of the body. The goal of the surgery is to look young and fresh and gives a lot of satisfaction to the female specially if the female is health conscious and has otherwise avoided the aging effects on her body. The cost of the surgery is in the range of USD 2500-3500 depending upon the surgeon and their experience in doing this surgery. Dr Sumita Singh is one of the most experienced doctor when it comes to doing this surgery apart from Dr Preeti Pandya who has also done quite a number of these surgeries in her career.
A good hospital needs to have qualified doctors with good experience. Most of the hospitals in the vicinity offer services of doctors who either do not have proper qualifications or do not possess requisite experience. We do not claim to be a tertiary care hospital providing services across all the streams of medicine and surgery but whatever service you get at Yashlok Hospital are first class in terms of quality.
We are probably the only hospital which has an inhouse Ultrasound and Colour Doppler facility. The hospital has state of art Digital X-Ray, ECG, Pathology Lab, Dental Centre, Physiotherapy Centre and Inhouse Pharmacy. The operating room at the hospital has the deployment of cutting edge technology which gives us the confidence of doing the most complex of the surgeries with relative ease.
Healthcare is a very different stream from any other service industry. People come to us only when they are in a problem which they are not able to understand. All our team members are thoroughly trained to provide the medical care with highest ethical standards and with compassion and empathy. The entire care programme is designed keeping the centricity of the patient in mind.
